Guest Runners
We love having guests and visitors! During the regular season (May - November), if you are a Galloway Running Club member from another location, please contact us to join for a Saturday long run. Non-members are also welcome to join us for a few trial runs to see how easy and enjoyable it is to train the Galloway way. We have training pace groups ranging from from 11:00 per mile through 18:00 per mile, and welcome guests on any single digit mileage run.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We are committed to diversity and inclusion in our running community. We are an anti-racist running club and see our position in the running community as vital to the process of inclusion and representation. We have historically been known as a club that welcomes people who, for various reasons, don’t feel welcome or comfortable in other clubs, usually based on speed or fitness level. Recognizing areas in which we have fallen short, we are assertively broadening our commitment to the similar inclusion and participation of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) from all parts of the tri-state area running community. We will actively seek to recruit members from diverse backgrounds and to promote diversity in our leadership, bringing as many voices to our decision making processes as possible. Our code of conduct requires that all members embrace others with dignity and respect. We support all initiatives that seek to highlight and disrupt practices or policies that further inequity, discrimination, racism, injustice, or favoritism of any one group over another. We acknowledge that throughout our season we will be gathering on the traditional land of the Munsee Lenape, Wappinger, Canarsie, and Matinecock peoples past and present, and honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations.
